Continuous Guttering

Seamless gutter rolled to the exact length of your roofline, so a single run carries no joins to leak, sag or rust.

Continuous guttering is what we are named for and what we do most days. We bring the roll-forming to your home and make each gutter in one length, matched to the measurement of your roofline. A standard sectional gutter is cut into shorter pieces and joined along the run, and every one of those joins is somewhere water can eventually find its way through. Take the joins out and you take out most of the trouble.

The result is a straight, clean line along the roof with outlets only where the downpipes go. Less to seal, less to fail, and less for you to think about once it is up.

Because the machine comes to you, the gutter is never handled more than it needs to be, which keeps the coating unmarked and the finished run looking sharp from the street.

What is involved

  • On-site measure of every roofline length and fall
  • Gutter rolled to length on the day in your chosen profile
  • COLORBOND and BlueScope steel in a colour matched to your roof
  • Correct fall set so water leaves the run quickly
  • Downpipes and outlets fitted and checked to flow
  • Old guttering removed and the site left clean

Profiles and colours

We work in the common Australian gutter profiles, so whether your home suits a quad, a squareline or a concealed fascia-style gutter, we can shape it. The choice comes down to the look you are after and how much water the roof needs to shed, and we will walk you through it rather than default to whatever is on the trailer.

Colour is matched from the COLORBOND range against your roof and fascia. A new run should read as part of the house, not a bright strip bolted along the top of it, and getting the colour right is part of doing the job properly.

Why continuous suits Northern Rivers homes

When a Northern Rivers downpour hits, a gutter has to carry real volume without spilling. A continuous run has no mid-span joins to weep under that load, and we size and fall it so water clears fast.

Near the coast at Ballina and Byron, salt air attacks joins and cheap fixings first. Fewer seams and quality steel means the run holds up far longer than a jointed gutter would.

Common questions

How long does a re-gutter take?

Most single-storey homes are done in a day. Larger or two-storey roofs, or jobs that include fascia or gutter guard, may run to two. We give you a realistic timeframe with your quote.

Can you match my existing roof colour?

Yes. We work in the COLORBOND range and match the new gutter to your roof and fascia so it looks like it belongs, not like a patch.

Do I have to be home while you work?

Not usually. Once the quote is agreed and we know how to get to the roof, most gutter jobs run fine with you out at work. We will sort access with you beforehand and let you know when we are done.
